The Faculty of Physics of the University of Göttingen has a strong focus ion quantum physics, in both research and teaching. There is a strong connection between experiment and theory, as well as between physics and mathematics, and campus-wide collaborations with non-university institutions. In this regard, we carry on the collaborative nature of quantum mechanics that started 100 years ago in Göttingen and other places.
